The garden and wild flower plants that we hope to include in Bumblebee Alley are listed below.
If you could provide us with divisions, cuttings or seeds for any of them, we would be very grateful. Donated Trees and Shrubs will also be gratefully received! We also need volunteers to grow plants from seed.
Wild flowers must not be removed from 'the wild'. Varieties of plants that have been highly bred to 'improve' appearance, such as multiple petals will not be suitable, as Bumblebees gain nothing from them.
If you have any other plants that you have noticed being frequently visited by bees please let us know, and if you can provide us with a 'sample' plant, even better!
